Our Story
Tim and Karen began working together in 2010 as Sourcing Team Leads for a large healthcare management company. As their teams progressed and their working relationship developed, so did their careers. Individually and simultaneously, Tim and Karen began receiving promotions with more responsibilities and oversight. Their constant collaboration on new ideas, strategies, and processes further enhanced their skillsets. Eventually, each moved on to follow their individual career paths until a merger of companies brought them back full circle. Karen was the Director of Provider Recruiting while Tim was awarded Director of the Lead Generation Center and Residency Recruiting. The original dream for them to one day lead recruiting had materialized. Though they weren’t done yet - a greater dream began to take root.
As senior leaders during the onset of Covid19, and throughout the pandemic, the difficulties inflicted in nearly every realm of healthcare overwhelmed the industry causing Tim, Karen, and many other healthcare leaders to adapt to the new, yet previously unknown, normal state. At the heart of this was the constant and admirable desire to provide solutions for recruiting and retaining the right clinicians to continue providing excellent patient care. But the many shifts of industry focus, staffing models, schedules, finances (including workforce reductions and budget cuts), various recruiting and retention strategies and simply, burnout of fatigued clinical and corporate staff, began to shape a much less admirable landscape - a landscape vastly different from that of the pre-Covid19 era.
Connections have never mattered more.
When the concept of C to C Healthcare Connections was born, it only made sense that Tim and Karen partner in this endeavor and challenge the status quo. After fourteen years of working as direct counterparts, constant collaboration has fueled their respect for one another. Together, they have each made the other better leaders and have always complimented one another
through their different talents, styles, and philosophies.​
