Karen is COO and Founder of C to C Healthcare Connections. After several years in the legal industry, Karen moved into legal recruiting with a brief stop in IT, quantitative marketing, and data analytics recruiting before transitioning to healthcare. She brings over 25 years of recruiting, research and leadership in various industries, with 13 of those years being in the Healthcare industry.
Helping people is a passion of hers and recruiting is one of the few professions where you are continually helping others. She loves learning about people and finding out what makes them unique. Matching someone to the right opportunity is very rewarding for the person you are helping as well as for your client. She strives to understand and connect with people. Together with Tim Chaffin (CEO), they are forging through to a new and improved way to harness the power of Recruiting.

Karen was born and raised in Texas, where she has spent the majority of her life in the Houston area. She cherishes time with family, mostly with her husband, Ron, of thirty-three years and their daughter Kari. She also loves spending time with her and Ron's large extended families, including their 89 nieces and nephews - with more on the way! She, Ron, and Kari love live music and attending concerts together. They also enjoy watching football, particularly college football and are fans of all the Houston sports teams. Karen loves traveling, with her favorite vacation spots being anywhere with sun & sand or mountains, waterfalls, & hiking. Personal growth and empowerment books are her go-to read. Her favorite authors are those who focus on how to take control of your life, wealth, health and happiness, as well as books focused on working with people and leadership styles. These types of books have inspired her leadership style and the way she lives her life.
